Ben Mellor








Ben is a Writer / Performer who has performed his work at Contact Theatre, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Latitude Festival and the RSC’s New Work Festival.
 

He recently won the Dike Omeje Slam Poetry Award 2008, resulting in a 12 month residency at Commonword, and has just finished the first leg of his solo show, Voices of Dissent, which will be touring nationally by bicycle in spring/summer 2009. He is also a founder member of new spoken word collective, Pen-Ultimate, who are currently developing their first full length show.

His poem Television will not be Revolutionised appeared in Corporate Watch's 10th Anniversary collection, This Poem is Sponsored by... and his first short story Boston Diptych has recently been re-published by Route in their Route Offline anthology.
